Million stitches long story.
During my pregnancy I have created six knitted dresses. This crochet technique i invented when i was studying in university to avoid sewing process. That time i came up with the idea to knit over geometrical stretch parts and then sewing this pieces together with handmade stitch.
One dress consists of 20 to 28 pieces. On the average, i had to make 540 crochet holes in fabric to create just one part of the dress. Whole dress has 500.000 handmade loops. You can easily put this peaces in a category of "haute couture".
But it doesn't make this dresses uncomfortable, opposite it's easy to wear for a special occasion.
During creation I have skipped sketches part , replaced it with moulage technique. I like this process for giving me many unexpected solutions in cutting. It takes from 2-4 weeks to create one dress.
