
SENSORIAL INTERACTIVE GAME
Shoppers interact with onscreen content by clapping at Compal POS in Continente hypermarkets in Portugal.
CHALLENGE
Active POS displays during a multi-brand fair at supermarkets throughout Portugal, in a fun, competitive manner to reinforce the brand's most recent campaign about the brand's quality fruit-based drinks.
SOLUTION
A large, interective screen displaying a colourful orchard with trees heavily loaded with fruit.
Customers needed to purchase up to four COMPAL products to qualify to play the game, which involved standing in front of the virtual orchard and clapping loudly in an attempt to get the pieces of fruit to fall from the trees. Prizes ranged from rackets to backpacks and hand bags.
The application, which ran on a 42" plasma built into a colourful PVC structure decorated with the campaign motif, was set up in seven different Continente hypermarkets in Portugal.
