Forest

The design of Tallinn Airport VIP rooms is inspired by the natural Estonian environment and of the homes of Estonian people. While more than 50% of Estonia is covered by forest and untouched nature, we did not have to look far for inspiration from our natural surroundings. The forest theme can be seen in various layers of the interior design, it is reflected in the rooms both directly and indirectly. Trees grow from the moss-covered ground, as does the seating, which also symbolises bushes. The shrubs, characteristic of the brush, are transferred as modest fine lines depicting a twig motif, which can be seen in both the soft and wooden furniture. The light falling through the treetops and intertwined branches creates chaotic and unique spots of light on the walls and on the floor, adding individuality and a sense of wildness to the rooms. These rooms, with their creative nature-like design have a delicate and unassuming look to ensure a peaceful, comfortable and homey environment for our VIP guests.
