Annual Review 2016
The Australian Payments Network (formerly APCA) is a self-regulatory body set up to monitor and improve Australian payments. Payment stakeholders are continually collaborating and adapting with new technologies and systems, and this notion of collaboration was the theme of the 2016 Annual Review.
We departed from the look and feel of previous years, emphasising technology and people interacting with new electronic transaction methods. Illustrations showed the bustling movement of ācoinsā, reminiscent of pixels forming different parts of the digital landscape.
We art directed a photoshoot with photographer Quentin Jones, which called for a headshot of each board member, as well as group shots showing candid interaction. Custom infographics highlighted key payment trends over the last year were also reconfigured to encourage sharing amongst the financial community.
