Whether parents are overusing, misusing or correctly using antibiotics for their toddler, they might notice a change in their little one’s behavior that could be a result of the medication she is ingesting.

WHY OVERUSE OF ANTIBIOTICS CAN BE HARMFUL TO YOUR CHILDREN?:  Exposes your child to the drug’s potential side effects (like diarrhea, thrush and diaper rash). according to AskDrSears.com, The most common are diarrhea, nausea, and stomach pain.  "In addition to targeting bad bacteria, antibiotics kill off healthy bacteria in the gut. This can lead to stomach upset or diarrhea," says Dr. Munjal.

SYMPTOMS THAT MAY NOT REQUIRE ANTIBIOTICS
Viral Infections: ex) the common cold(fever).
In Korea, even if a child gets a cold, antibiotics can easily be prescribed.: Antibiotics are not needed for the common cold. WHY? Pharmacist Jung: To really find out what kind of bacteria children are infected with, for example, doctor should take the patient's sputum, and then cultivate the bacteria from there and use only the right type of antibiotic. However, because of time and cost issues, the doctor just assume the disease and prescribe all of antibiotic antibiotics.

-> Parents should also have some awareness of antibiotics!!

Based on the Flow chart of US antibiotic standards, which was confirmed by German physician STRATMANN, it is an app that allows parents to gain knowledge of antibiotics.
