In 2016, an hazardous environmental incident happened in Vietnam: Over thousands of kilometers of its coast were terribly polluted by raw industrial wastes, which had been dumped illegally by a Taiwanese steel mill nearby. This killed millions of fish and other oceanic creatures, the main source of income for a majority of local fishermen families. 

This artwork’s intention was to raise public awareness of the incident, as well as an contribution to a humanity fund by Ars for Peace Foundation (https://www.facebook.com/afpfoundation.vn/), where art sales would be used to support the heavily affected families.
