FIRST THINGS FIRST
This is a university project for the course of Typographic Design, hosted by Marta Bernstein.
The professor introduced a text called The First Things First Manifesto.
Written in 1963 and published in 1964 by Ken Garland along with 20 other designers, photographers and students, the manifesto was a reaction to the staunch society of 1960s Britain and called for a return to a humanist aspect of design.
I had to create a layout of the content in a personal way and give importance to the most significant phrases of the text.
We had a lot of restrictions such as the use of only one colour, one font and the ban to put any kind of images or decorations.
I used Gill sans.
