Moscow, Russia

Working to help promote the Tsavran ‘chemical immobilisation workshops’ saw me travel to Russia to document their Moscow course. They teach both students and established vets how to work with exotic and zoo animals to ensure the safe and correct treatment of animals needing to be sedated. Not only did I engage with the culture, but I observed the precise procedure of administering anesthetic and was able to get up-close-and-personal with some of the biggest, most dangerous and most endangered species on the planet. This is an adventure I will never forget.

The animals below are; Siberian tiger (110kg), Vicuña, Brown Bear (1 y/o) and Amur Leopard.
