“de-junk, re-junk” is an annual show, open to all Merseyside artists, craftspeople and designers.

“de-junk, re-junk 2012 took place from the 2nd to the 20th of July 2012 in Birkenhead Park in Wirral.

The 2011 exhibition tied in with a conference ran by Wirral Council, the event is over 3 days, Held at Pacific Road Arts Centre (22nd and 23rd). The exhibition will later had a second airing in Birkenhead Park from 16th -31st of July 2011. The 2010 exhibition was a community exhibition with a few invited exhibitors.

In February and March 2012, we held 7 free public recycling art/craftworkshops in the lead up to the show in 2012, with a grant from the Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority.

In 2013, we will be looking for private sponsorship as Wirral Council have handed it over to us from this year on and it looks likely that the show will be in the Williamson in June/July.
