Vaverön´s Nature Reserve - Vaveröns Naturresevat
Vaverön is located just over 300 meters from the mainland and you can cross over by rowing boats available for lending.The island grows mostly pine forests and you can follow paths that lead the whole island.
The island has been used by man for a long time with its sheltered south side. Remains exist from the Iron Age. Today, Vaverön summertime is a popular excursion destination for the boats in Siljan. The beaches are rocky but on the south side of the island there is a well-protected marina and bathing place.
