BACK IN 2007 WE DID, ZURI The concept of Zuri was complex in it's simplicity. The first impression seems pure and simple but once focused on details the deconstructive style is present all over. Straight lines are necessary due to the functionality and the original construction of the building but they are in perfect balance with the use of dynamic forms. The futuristic experience is strong yet without leaving you with a cold feeling. The white body of the total construction transforms by the use of light. It's a fascinating game of absorbtion and reflection. Intentionally a day and nightspace were created. Two seperate parts devided by sliding panels and a back to back bar construction. During the evening the two rooms become one by opening the divisions. The entrance to the main room is in contrast with the rest of the space. The tunnel experienced income is a wink to a work of art from Luc Perre. Endless depth and hight were created by use of mirrors and streets of light. Read Less
