comma was a work that put value not only to things but also to users, by thinking about the break time of things. The visualization of the break time was intended to express the symbol (comma) as a pause in the sentence. In order to feel the value of resting on the pencil stand to be designed, 'stick' and 'put' were used to indicate the two actions as "off" and "pause" in the use of objects. Comma, which has the value of rest, and the function of the pencil stand and the role of paperweight, was designed with two materials and seven colors to be used as interior objects.
comma는 사물의 휴식시간을 생각함으로써 사물뿐만 아니라 사용자에게도 쉼이라는 가치를 주는 작업에서 시작하였습니다. 보이지 않는 휴식시간을 문장에서 쉼을 나타내는 기호인, (comma)를 도형화하여 시각화하였습니다. 연필꽂이에서 쉼이라는 가치를 느낄 수 있도록 ‘꽂는다’, ‘둔다’ 이 두 행동으로 필기 사용의 정지와 쉼으로 나누었습니다. 쉼이라는 가치와 함께 연필꽂이 본연의 기능 그리고 문진의 역할을 가진 comma는 두 가지의 재질과 7가지의 색상으로 인테리어 개체로 활용될 수 있습니다.
