In 2018 we took the World’s top football squad, added the new C-Class and went on a wild ride. The result was a bold, progressive campaign that celebrates the confidence and mindset of true champions: to push limits and never rest on success.

Since all of Germany was ablaze with defending the title, we let the stars of our campaign shine all over the country – bringing a style that was just as loud, fast and exciting as today’s football. At airports, on landmarks, in newspapers, sports magazines, on Instagram and even abroad, the message was clear: the champ is here.

Germans love cars. And they love soccer. So we had the chance to basically craft a piece of cultural heritage. And as the final campaign of a decades-long partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Die Mannschaft, it had to be as unique as the occasion. And a unique team of creatives made that happen. Thanks to everybody. It was an honor. And a whole lot of fun.
