Branding Project
 Coffee Haven
I wanted to try a hand at branding a Coffee Shop business from start to finish.
 Hope you all enjoy.
With the start of my process I needed a logo that differentiates me from the competition, from looking around a lot of coffee shops use a cup along with some brown color. I decided to go with a more refreshing image with a simple coffee bean surrounded by a floral design, after all our precious beans come from a plant.
Next I needed a font to accompany my logo, searching around the internet I found four potential fonts I could use; from left to right there is  Milestone, Caniste, Cocogoose, and Poetsen One. I ended up choosing Cocogoose as the boldness and spacing seemed to fit best of all.
My favorite part of this project, picking a color. I selected a range of colors that fit into the mood of coffee and compared them. This could have been the most daunting task, but knowing the entire point of the coffee shop was to have a relaxing and friendly place to hang out with everybody.

I chose the last color initially because of its relaxing charm, but I felt it was a bit too soft and maybe too feminine looking, so I took the third to last logo and the last logo and found an in between color.
At last I have my logo and text in synergy. I am quite pleased with how it turned out. Now I made variations to cover across all kinds of media.
For the branding aspect of my business I utilized a color from an earlier process to go along with my marketing. This way I can add interest and consistency with my brand.
For my menu I utilized strong typography and placed my logo in the background.
For my packaging I used a free mock-up bag as a base, put in necessary color alterations and decided to make it stand out actually show a bit of the product inside the bag.
