For 36 Days of Type 2018 I decided to combine my love of time lapse photography with letterforms. The dramatic landscape of my adopted home has been a huge inspiration, and the majority of the background plates were shot here in the Pacific Northwest over the last few years. The letters themselves are based on the Alva and Lot typefaces, by Marcelo Reis Melo and Fontfabric, respectively.
