This project was made in 2000 as a collaboration between Xdin AB, Sweden and Labyrint A/S, Norway. Patents and copyrights are owned by Michel Naert, Ulf Tolfsen and me.

Hospital beds are in general large, heavy, clumsy and have poor ergonomics for both patient and staff. By using lightweight materials and usability centered design, we aimed to create a bed that would be more easy to use, better looking and cheaper than most beds currently used. The bed is controlled electronically with predefined positions.
