In 2009, the Imaginarium brand had already grown into the speakers for iPods and smartphones market, before other Brazilian brands. In 2013, there were many options at the store, but all of them had one thing in common: they were all designed to be ultra-neutral at the consumer house: always a generic form and almost always black. They had the brand spirit, but an option designed exclusively to young women was needed. This was something that at this point wasn’t available at any other place in Brazil.

So this was the challenge: to create a funny-looking bluetooth speaker for young women, to be placed in her house.

The result is an easy-to-sell wireless speaker. The owl theme chosen was wide enough to appeal to different people (not only young women ended up buying it – older women and men also liked the shape).

In 2016 it won the bronze medal at the House and Gift design award.
