Developing new activities for the involvement of elementary aged children with lower body disabilities in gym classes, I learned about the benefits of rowing.

To present my design I'd like to use a storyboard. Joseph is an 8 year old boy, he has just entered grade 3 and loves the teenage mutant ninja turtles. Joseph was also born with Cerebral Palsy and has trouble walking or standing for long periods of time.
Because of Joseph's disability sometimes his teacher struggles to find ways to include Joseph in gym class. Because of this he loses out on physical activity and more importantly interacting with his classmate. Joseph sometimes feels left out and thinks that  something wrong with the way he is.
The Row Cart is a mobile rowing machine. On this toy children can cruise around with their friends, come up with new games and races or spin until their dizzy. The Row cart is designed to be adjustable and fun for many abilities.
All the kids in the class struggle at first to learn how to ride the Row Cart. Eventual Joseph learns to fly through the gym, earning the best time of the day in the obstacle course. The other children see that Joseph is just like them even through sometimes he needs to use a walker.
