Concept to convert a market/ industrial village into a gathering place/ multi functional complex of buildings.
Early on in the process, it was decided that steel cladding over the industrial buildings could cheaply and dramatically change the architectural style, and then CNC manufactured perforations would be used to create animal images in the cladding and appeal to the market.
Although the Photoshop work is harsh and the design not fully refined (mainly in the paving pattern and landscape), the result for first reply to the client from initial brief is a good vision for how the vision fully converts the industrial neighborhood into a dynamic place with plenty to look at and plenty of spaces to hang out in.
