Architectural Analysis: Schiller Theater Building Study

The Schiller Theater Building, designed by Adler & Sullivan Architects in Chicago, opened in 1891 and was demolished 1961. Using the original architectural plans and sections, I developed a three-dimensional model following their specifications that allowed the once physical structure to now exist within a virtual environment. This gave me the possibility of inhabiting the building once again and to be able to stand within the theater space at a human scale using real-time rendering and virtual reality software.
