This redesign was created as a proposal for a collaborative project between the University of Malta and Federazzjoni Maltija Lotta. 

The logomark was developed from the concept of the entwined bodies of the 
wrestlers and also that of a knot.

The colours for the logo were chosen based on the fact that wrestlers’ leotards are either blue or red, and therefore would be recognisable when applied to the leotards.
