Client: Perci

Brief: As a concept, design a brand identity for a small, part-time, word of mouth business specialising in custom handcrafted Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP's). The business plans  to scale up to a full time commercial operation, supplying  SUP's and accessories for one of the fastest growing water sports. 

Perci shares his name with the friendly Australian Blue Groper which belongs in the scientific Order of Perciformes so we thought it was fitting for Perci, the board shaper/former to have a Blue Groper as part of the identity.

The brand identity needs to have contrast, consistency, be original, unique with hand lettering, textures and illustrations.

Deliverables: Stand alone logo.
An original, novel illustration of the Blue Groper fish for a mascot.
Include handcrafted lettering. 
Two label/badge variants containing the logo and the mascot.
Application of the brand on t-shirts and on a paddleboard.
