Winston Calvert of St. Louis, MO: Push the Envelope
Winston Calvert served as City Counselor of St. Louis, MO, until 2015. When appointed, Mayor Slay stated that he wanted Winston to “start pushing the envelope” as City Counselor. At the end of Calvert's time in City Hall, Mayor Slay tweeted, "Credit Winston Calvert . . . with giving us the support we need to do new, progressive things." He founded his own law and public relations firms, Calvert Advocates LLC and Calvert Strategies LLC, following his term as City Counselor.
