THE WALL is my thesis project, in collaboration with Universal Studios.
I had to create a logo, a fanzine and a motion graphics opening for a web series in which every cult movie from the 80's make an appareance.
In my video I tried to represent with color and graphics the 5 cult movies that appears in the series, each one of them is like a stream that flows until reaching the others in the end.
The effect I wanted to create was like an old VHS visualization, so there are crackles, noises and a "vintage" effect that goes through all the project.
The logo I created is also based on the "vintage" effect.
Since in the series the protagonists are dragged into a kind of "cult movie world", the "A" represents a door, a portal to another dimension.
On the right you can see the alternative version I made specifically for the dedicated fanzine, shown later in this presentation.
