Alvin Lustig's amazing talent for creating visual narratives that captured the imagination inspired me to handcraft and faithfully reproduce 14 book jacket designs originally created by Alvin Lustig for the New Classics Series published by New Directions Books, in 1946.

I drew and entirely reproduced these book jacket designs using a Wacom Intuos Pro tablet, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I reproduced these works as faithfully as possible! My only caveat would be on the matching of colours due to the fact that many of the original artworks had most probably faded with time and wear.
