PROCESS
The pattern around the vase is done by first carving the design out, and mixing mahogany saw dust with wood glue to fill up the indents, having it the same level as the vase itself. Sandpaper was then used to clean and take off the excess wodd filling. This process was done instead of using milkpaint to paint on the pattern, to achieve a more organic and natural look.
