MITA (Mental Imagery Therapy for Autism) is a unique, early-intervention application for children with ASD.

Home screen: Puzzles are divided into six themes that appeal children interest. Home screen has parents corner that addresses all parents needs, sound button is on the top surface.

UX challenge: children not to lose interest in puzzles

Solution: Interface has fun character, who encourages a kid to play by sounds and gestures, there are animated transitions and themed playtime at the end of controlled session.

UX challenge: children and parents to see progress. 

Solution: progress bar with adjustable amount of puzzles before playtime / session end. Progress bar is filled with star that conveys an accomplishment for children perception.

Initial login screen. When first downloading MITA, user sees the initial login form that asks the most basic information from parent. Parent has the option of skipping this step, and prompted later on.

UI features high contrast minimal color palette, clear line illustrations and rich textures.
