Kuàizi is the first from a selection of short films produced by A little Hawk Productions in association with The City of Concrete Publishing Company.

 

 

A trilogy of short films which all explore the surreal yet realistic feel of being or falling into a dream and what at times influences them.

 

 

Kuàizi explores the dream of a young man named Leroy Brown, who is a young man in his early twenty’s with a real passion for Martial Arts specifically Kung Fu.

 

 

Leroy is of Caribbean descent and this is felt the moment the film opens, and is carried over into his dream, but so is his passion for Kung Fu, this too is carried over into his dream resulting in a surreal yet convincing fusion of two cultures, creatively captured and edited in a hope to represent the vivid imagination, yet limited information within dreams, while leaving a visual interpretation of the process of dreaming in a short but enjoyable film.
