This project is based on the idea of organisms evolving and adapting to survive, and on mixing the aesthetic of old scientific imagery with fantastical, imagined creatures.
I have created a series of creatures and plants which have evolved to sur- vive a future world where climate change has resulted in extreme, harsh weather conditions. I have designed animals and plants which evolved to survive in harsh, icy cold climates, and creatures and plants adapted to extreme heat and dry climates. The creatures are based on existing ani- mals and plants which have evolved and adapted to their new climates.

I created a booklet and posters which emulate the style of 1700s- 1800s scientific illustration and encyclopedia pages, using this style to present my own imagined organisms.
