    For centuries women with addictions have been swept under the rug. Their concerns about societal, economic, and cultural pressures have largely been ignored. And much to the detriment of women living with addictions, they find themselves in a position where they become addicted quicker, and relapse faster than their male counterparts.. And, for those that do reach out for help, they are met with programs and services that have been tailor-made for men, leaving some to question their worth in a system that seems stacked against them. But, the truth of the matter is, all women are worthy of a helping hand. It’s time we stopped sweeping women under the rug. Read Less
