In today globalized world, communication has taken a crucial part in society. The rapid advancement of technology has benefited people at large, however, certain groups of people were left behind. Elderly, for instance, could not cope up with the fast pace due to conservatice mindset and little exposure to the technology. As such, there is a need for friendly technology customized for them. Bearing this issue in mind, this project is designed to cater the needs of the elderly to utilize technology for their on benefit.

Grammaphone is basically a communication tool for elderly. It can be connected to television or any other LCD Screen, hence, small screen is not a major problem. Embedded inside, there are several innovative features: Video Call, Music & Radio Player, Photo Slide Show, Foor Recipe Tips, and Writing Letter. One of the key features is Writing Letters. Elderly can write with their own hands, and send as emails. Also, fred not, there will be a camera to capture their handwriting. Therefore, they will feel as personal and as nostalgic as they can be.
