2014 — FIFA Ballon d'Or
Each year the FIFA® Ballon d'Or (TM) trophy, a prestigious individual award, consecrates the football player of the season.
My ambition was to design a twenty-three posters series to present the twenty-three players nominated to FIFA® Ballon d'Or (TM) 2014 trophy.
The composition of this posters series is inspired by the famous Panini cards. Selected photographs are chromatically standardized with black & white. This creates a strong contrast between the black & white sobriety and the energy shown in these photographs.
The rigor of justified composition is animated by the letter spacing willingly very variable. To finish, the all is showcased by the used of yellow-gold, characteristic of the winner trophy.
