About Pop&Roll:

 

Pop & Roll is a family of creative artists founded in late 2010. The group brings together some of the best professional dancers and artists in Bulgaria with long experience and expertise in the field of street culture. Since the groups’ establishment, the Pop&Roll members are some of the most wanted guest artists in almost all major festivals, concerts, dance classes and schools in Bulgaria. Members of the group have bunch of awards at major dance competitions at home and abroad and are often invited to judge them. The group's aim is to create quality projects presenting the positive side of the street culture, as an alternative, clean and inspirational lifestyle, overcoming all economic, social, political and religious barriers.

 

 

One of the latest projects of the group is the theater performance "7D", which presents seven scenes inspired by the personal experiences of the authors behind which actually hide seven positive key words: energy, knowledge, inspiration, faith, battle, love and freedom. These are the values in which the dancers from Pop&Roll and their partner musicians, DJs and beatboxer believe and are trying to convey to the audience. The sincerity of these messages can also be seen in another initiatives of Sleepwalking Society - JAM ON IT, one of biggest and well-known International Street Dance and Urban Culture Festival, which last year was held for the thirteenth consecutive time, thanks to which the Bulgarian public had the opportunity to meet legends like Kurtis Blow, Diamond D, Yarah Bravo, DJ Vadim, Marley Marl, WE FUNK Radio, Urban Artistry, Havikoro, Ken Swift, Mr. Wiggles, Maurizio the NextOne and many others.
