Daily UI // 002 // Payments UI

I'm taking on the checkout screen of the Daily UI challenge. I will say I realized far too late that I chose one of the most complicated possible checkout screens to do this exercise with, but happy to have gotten the text hierarchy workout.
First iteration after a quick wire framing. I wasn't completely sold on it, but wanted to get something out to comment on. Received some feedback to tweak the color palette, check contrast, and adjust some spacing weirdness on the PayPal button.
Liked the gradient from the first version but realized that going from a mid to a light wasn't working with the white text. Opted for a dark to mid gradient instead, which really helped with the color contrast.

Also simplified the payment method while also giving more options. Opted for text rather than logos for a clean and consistent feel.
More refining tweaks in the status bar, and messing with some opacity things. I think I'm pretty happy with it but let's see what focus group B has to say about it!
