The Hyderabad State Central Library is the city's first library in India constructed for the preservation of Urdu literature. The site on the banks of the River Musi was considered the ideal location for a state's most prestigious monument in the year 1932 by architect Aziz Ali. As a prerequisite for the dissertation on the 'Restoration of the Hyderabad State Central Library', an analysis was conducted to analyse the relevance of this site location almost a century later. The plans displayed below investigate the surrounding context within a 3km radius of the site.
Micro-analysis maps have also been added to understand the immediate site surroundings.
