Loose Screws: Stories of Mental Illness
Over one quarter of American adults suffer from mental illness. Regardless of this staggering number, there is a stigma surrounding mental disorders. This widespread lack of understanding is why I chose to create my senior thesis project on this topic. This hand bound book contains true stories that give us a first-person perspective into the minds of those suffering. My hopes is that readers of Loose Screws: Stories of Mental Illness will gain a better understand of this large portion of our population.
