The seventh UM UM festival takes place in the border of town Stará Ľubovňa, that lies in the northeast of Slovakia. This year´s topic is Germans, Jews, Slovaks, and Stará Ľubovňa. Currently, the dramaturgy of this multi-genre festival is based on exploring possibilities of joining contemporary art with the history and traditions of the multi-ethnical region. The new visual concept for the UM UM festival is bringing a multitude of many different coloured triangles - that refers to the specific colour violent marks of human identity for the prisoners of nazism. I proposed that in my concept of triangles "individual colours can mix together (as individual ethnicity mixes) and create endless colour combinations."
