INTRODUCTION
I've always appreciated contrasts in life, both in visual color palettes, but also in terms of shapes and materials, which I believe this designs does. Inspired by the general shapes of leaves, I wanted to create a feminine but confident shape, accompanied with a strong masculine material choice.

INSPIRATION // SHAPE
EXECUTION
The core of the design is a backbone in brushed steel, as are also the rim which frames and protects the design. Between the backbone and the rim, the primary design is filled with a jet black matte painted material, but may also be softened up with a gray matte material choice or a steam bent wooden one.
RESULT
As a result we have a modern styled bar stool with a Scandinavian and retro touch.
