Few products in the design world capture the perfect balance of simplicity and complexity like the bicycle. When designing a full range of cycling lights for JAZ Cycling, a boutique bike accessories brand, modern simplicity was a huge inspiration. The design team was also influenced by modern simplicity – with the aim of creating products that fit seamlessly with contemporary environments like office spaces and home interiors. And while good looks are important, they aren’t as important as how something works. Each JAZ product was built for all-weather durability and optimal usability depending on the rider’s needs.
Designing products for activities you love is always a best-case scenario. JAZ Cycling was founded by cycling enthusiasts and product developers, for modern casual cyclists. The range included five cycling lights sold globally to over 20 countries, connecting cyclists who appreciate simplicity in modern design. They are designed for different rider preferences and use-case scenarios. For example, a casual rider with taste in modern design will appreciate Zlender, a simple bicycle light which blends streamlined beauty with purposeful design. Whereas Z2K is designed to be a utility commuter light, prioritizing brightness, long rides and durability.
Zlender
Sexy & elegant, with style. Zlender is a simple bicycle light which blends streamlined beauty with purposeful design. A refined aluminum exterior shell attaches to a beautifully crafted plastic body. It is also one of the best material used for building bike frames. Well-rounded design that matches well with any style of outfit.
ZLIM
Smallest of the Brightest. Great for portability, versatile for mounting on bikes. ZLIM is an ultra-slim, lightweight and very bright light that can also be attached to a backpack or outdoor apparel.
ZAFE
Be safe and to have a reliable product are crucial for long journey riders. A robust rubberized body designed for body protection. Installed with a special Long Run-Time feature to perform over a day of constant light beaming. The “ZAFE- LIFE” software design optimized the power output to maximize a constant beam runtime to be over a day. Not only it can last for a long time, the luminosity is also kept at a decent safety performance level.
Z500 / Z2K
Z2K are similar lights offering either 500 or 2000 lumens, with a power switch intuitively placed on the side to ensure the user doesn’t push the light out of position when turning it on. Designed by cyclists, for cyclists.
