Spring 2012. Science Fiction/Dystopian Book Covers.
This is a series of three science fiction and dystopian novels. I designed them to
subtly feature the human figure interacting with imagery specific to each novel.
These are a mixture of vector shapes, photomanipulation and collage.

Spring 2012. Plattsburgh BFA 2012 Catalog.
I designed the catalog, poster and invitations to the Senior Bachelor of Fine Arts
Exhibition for 2012. I wanted to make it interesting, sophisticated and neutral to
all concentrations of art. I worked with Queen City Printers Inc. and my design
assistant Shawna Armstrong to create invitations, the catalog and posters for
the show based around this design.

Spring 2012. Twin Peaks Teaser Posters: Fire.
These are a set of teaser posters for a DVD release of the aired and completed
television series Twin Peaks. These aim to excite present fans and to intrigue
new fans by featuring quotes from the show. I emphasized the type but echoed
the quotes with related imagery behind them.

Fall 2011. Philia Magazine: Cover.
This is an identity experiment. I wanted to fabricate a controversial and difficult
magazine to create a logo, cover, contents page and feature spread for. I aimed
to keep the publication classy and modern despite its subject being fetishes
and fixations. It is intruiging and slightly off-putting.
Fall 2011. Philia Magazine: Table of Contents.
Fall 2011. Philia Magazine: Spread Part One.
Fall 2011. Philia Magazine: Spread Part Two.
Spring 2011. Kurt Vonnegut Book Covers.
The aim of these designs was to capture the mood Kurt Vonnegut’s literature
while keeping the covers cohesive. I used a bold design featuring limited color
palettes in each and expirimental layering of typeface and imagery.

Spring 2011. Mountains of Madness Movie Poster.
This work was inspired by the transformation of novels to film, specifically
H.P. Lovecraft’s Mountains of Madness. I aimed to convey the more dynamic
elements of the story without revealing too much. I experimented with a
colorful palette to challenge the stereotypical depiction of the horror genre.
2014. Made as a logo for niche Facebook page Horrific Finds.
2019. A logo made for my hometown of Rensselaer Falls, NY.
2020. Made for a local musician to brand himself.
2020. A series of three alternate covers for the book Carrie by Stephen King.
2020. A fabricated magazine for music experts Pitchfork, spread done for Bright Eyes' album Down In The Weeds, Where The World Once Was. I wanted to go with a modern feel but make it contemporary, really play with shapes and diagonals.
