CHATeau is a new cat food company, who want to break into the current market with a design that will set them apart. CHATeau is dedicated towards providing healthy and nutritional pet food, but they also want to provide an active lifestyle for any CHATeau cat.
The current pet food market is driven by pet humanization, where successful brands are targeted towards people’s lifestyle ideals. CHATeau plans to hone in on this trend, by creating a miniature manor for the cats.
Since CHATeau cat food is considered a premium brand by Canadian consumer standards (over $5/kg), CHATeau will be marketed towards pet lovers with extra income, and an appreciation for playtime with their pets. These people also have a sense of humour, and often humanize their pet. As women do most of the household shopping, the packaging is targeting females, ages 20-35. It is geared towards city-dwellers, as cats are popular pets in apartments and small living arrangements.
Either end of the box will have perforated holes so that when the consumer is finished with the kibble, the box can be used as a “playground” for their kitten.
