"There Hung a Darkness" is a concertina fold contemporary art book which delves into the pseudo-scientific realm of past life regression therapy combined with an exploration of cryptomnesia; when a forgotten memory returns without it being recognized as such by the subject, who believes it is something new and original. The book is a journey into self; where "past lives" are shown to be merely a meeting of conscious mind and subconscious self. The book was included in the ABSA l'Atelier Top 100 Artists of 2018 exhibition and catalogue.
