On the 27th of November 2012, I was invited to take part in a toy customisation event, alongside some very talented and dedicated artists. The toy in question is called Bizmoggi, a South African product, designed and conceptualised by Ghia Human. The artists involved had free reign to customise their blank toy in any manner they desired, provided it adhered to the theme of steampunk. 

  This was my first custom toy job, and I spent many enjoyable hours crafting it. Below you will find pictures of the toy in its original form, followed by my custom work. Rather than go the usual route of adding acccessories and sculpting to the toy, I decided to carve by hand, with the use of cutting tools and sand paper. The paint job was achieved with several layers of acrylic and poster paints, for a rust effect.
