ecoStove

ecoStove is a biomass cook stove which provides a healthy cooking process and also a lighting product that produces its own energy by thermoelectric generator. It's designed for the people who don't have electricty in their houses.

brief

Bachelor's Graduation Project / one of the main objectives of this project was to enable design students to cooperate with the industry and also to show the importance of design to the industry. The company that I've worked with for 3 months called TRAGEN, which manufactures kitchen appliances and they've comissioned me to design an innovative cooking product with no boundries.​​​​​​​

improved cookstoves offer a simple solution. Using less fuel they save family's money, reduce deforestation and cut CO2 emissions. They also reduce indoor air pollution and improve health

the final

ecoStove is a cookstove which designed for the people who have to cook their meals on open fire. All solid biomass can be used as fuel. It generates its own energy by TEG (thermoelectric generator - converts heat flux directly into electrical energy) and can store this energy on its li-ion battery, with this extra energy that come from the cooking heat, it can also be used as a lighting product.
