"The Erlking" is a free-form comic which alludes to the orgins of the Erlking. "Erlkönig" is a poem by Goethe which depicts the death of a child assailed by a supernatural being, the Erlking. This comic was completed while on residence at the Arteles Creative Center, Finland, as part of their ComicBlast programme and was self-published for the 2018 annual Cape Town Open Book Festival.
