Online Plant Delivery App
Project: Designing for the Transportation of Goods
Post, on Road and Aviation are just a few methods of transporting goods from one place to another. In this project, I was interested in transporting an object(s) which isn't commonly known to be ordered through an online app; therefore I came up with the idea of a plant app. This app allows users to browse, visualise and order plants on the go! Along with this, I wanted to experiment with the Augmented Reality feature, which would help in visualizing how a certain plant would look like in the user's home, office, etc.
Developing the Scheme
My main inspiration for the design of the app came from the Microsoft website. I really loved the simplicity and colour scheme used, and decided to develop a similar concept for my app. As shown above, I opted for mostly darker colours with some white and grey, which will allow a break from the darker colours. I have also included my spot colour to be a light shade of turquoise, to represent nature's green.

Branding the Company
When it came to creating concepts for the logo of my online plant ordering app, I knew I wanted to continue the consistency of my spot colour, in the logo as well. Since my overall theme is quite modern and elegant (in terms of layout and font), I decided to replicate the characteristics of a leaf, in a much modern and simplistic look.
