For my minor project in my third year at university, I chose to create an app in order to build a community for those interested in volunteering and also the volunteer organisations such as charities.  The market place allows both those who want to help, and those who need help to interact with each other and sign up for jobs and opportunities.  The app also allows people to enter the time they have available to give and matches that time with an appropriate activity or challenge in their area.  There is a chance to build your profile, gaining a rating from those the user has helped or interacted with and also building a network of friends or people in their area.  There is a forum where users have the chance to ask questions and gain information on any topic. 

This is an example of how the accompanying website homepage would be shown, as a long page scroll with all the different sections clearly linked throughout amongst the infographic style which has been carried through from the multi-page app.
