An illustration I created for Eyemyth media arts festival 2017 where I was asked to reimagine Mechatrons and Automatons in an Indian context. This was part of a series of artworks titled.

what if the Indian legends of gods and demons were in fact about automatons. Maybe that’s how they made miracles?
My illustration explores a dark theme of the unanticipated consequences of technology. Maybe our devices are not to blame perhaps, the demons lie within.
