Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, is the best place for lovers of concrete communist architecture. After the catastrophic earthquake in 1963, Skopje had to be rebuilt again. The dominant architecture style was brutalism. Mainly based on the geometry and concrete, brutalism became symbol of Skopje. These are illustrations inspired by the main buildings of Skopje's brutalism.
