'Faded Portrait' was part of an audience interactive participatory shadow play that incorporated real life issues and situations related to gender violence, largely taken from our own personal lives. As a group of eight we addressed child sexual abuse in the domestic front through music, dance and theatre.
The piece was performed at Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Bangalore under the guidance of Shadow Liberation - A theatre troupe that delivers social messages about gender violence through shadow puppetry.
